A groundbreaking collaboration between Beat Boxing legend Rahzel (2x Grammy winning Vocal Percussionist, The Roots, Bjork, Ben Harper) and pioneering electric violist/composer Martha Mooke (David Bowie, Barbra Streisand, Philip Glass).
A nod to the spirit of the Beat Generation, Gil Scott-Heron’s The Revolution Will Not Be Televised; Gunther Schuller’s Third Stream synthesis of jazz and classical; jazz bassist Charles Mingus and The Last Poets, who’s blending of spoken word and music influenced today’s rap and hip hop.
